So much more than your favourite spot to eat...

When you pull up a chair for a steaming bowl of Chef Ray’s ramen, or one of Chef Esther’s soul-warming pastas, you set something in motion. The Bodega Café and Pantry is one small part of a larger story: Elephant Thoughts, Institute of Changemakers.

That story began more than two decades ago in the foothills of the Himalayas and has carried on, by way of just about everywhere in between, to rural Ontario. Its purpose has stayed the same throughout: to help motivated young people find their footing in the world. With the support of people like you, our programs give youth facing barriers the practical skills and the grounding in leadership they need to move forward with purpose, and impact.

The Bodega is one of our social enterprises, a place where learning meets the real world. Each day our youth and alumni put their skills to work, and in doing so they discover who they are and who they might become: thoughtful leaders and generous contributors to their neighbourhoods and beyond.

Your support of The Bodega Cafe & Pantry  is where that ripple begins.
